The Bridge Hospital is the largest construction project in the history of HUS. It is a world class trauma and cancer hospital, that relocates and integrates the currently separated trauma functions of the Helsinki University Central Hospital. The merger of the two hospitals, Töölö and Meilahti, is a big change for the personnel, as it will comprise two different cultures. The completed building will encompass roughly 70.000 square meters of built area and it has a budget of some € 295 million.
